If I receive a mail with an attachment, say a .jpeg inline and I hit reply my
email automatically includes the attachment that I received from the sender and
sends it back to him. I can not find a setting to disable this. The only way to
solve it is to manually remove the attachment before sending the reply.
Incredibly frustrating...enough to make me gp back to Entourage which does not
have this problem!

This happens exactly as described for me also, if someone sends me an
attachment, and I click reply, the file that was attached for me is also
attached to the reply.  The only way I found around this was to disable
'Automatically Quote the original message' send the message then re-enable the
option.  It is indeed very frustrating and does require a fix.  This happens to
me on a WinXP platform by the way.

howdy y'all,

[1] requesting version be set to 1.5.

[2] requesting os be set to all.

[3] requesting title be changed to show that this ONLY happens with html format replies. perhaps something like ..

html reply & reply-to-all always includes image attachments

IF the email includes an image attachment
AND the reply format is html
THEN the reply will include the image.

that is NOT supposed to happen with reply or reply-to-all. those are supposed to strip out all attachments.

== CASE B ==
IF the email includes an image attachment
AND the reply format is plaintext
THEN the reply will NOT include the image.

this is correct behavior.
