Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Firefox/1.0 I live in Indonesia and use a local bank for daily transactions by Internet. Have routinely used the site for 2 years. In IE I can routinely transfer funds to other accounts, but in Firefox I reach the point where an intended transfer is supposed to be clicked into the 'transaction basket' whereupon the Web page freezes so that I cannot proceed with the transaction. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log into my account at the Bank Permata 2. Go to transfer page 3. Enter all the data for a transfer 4. Click "Send to transaction basket" Actual Results: Nothing. The screen remains the same and there is no indication at the bottom of the frame (as in IE) that data is being exchanged with the bank site. Expected Results: In IE, within 2 minutes, a new screen pops up showing the Transaction Basket but that never happens in Firefox

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. I have the same problem for conducting online banking transaction, e.g. fund transfer request. Upon hitting on the transfer action button, the page will just hang and no data will being sent throug. A similiar problem encountered when I try to make an online purchase action over apple.com. The verifying credit card process will just hang and apparently no data will be sent through. Whereas using other browser like IE, it has no problem to trigger the transaction and receive the confirmation of transaction done immediately. Firefox is a good browser, hope you guys will get this bug fix for a better positioning! I support the FOX!
bank site link to account results in unwanted opening of download manager. "application/octet-stream" is indicated. All other bank site functions operational.Accounts link functions in IE but I am loathe to use it.

I'm resolving this bug as invalid. Without any list of sites that this happens on and without any steps to reproduce, there's no good way to work on this bug even if I had access to those account. If you can reproduce these problems with Firefox 2.0.0.3 and using a new profile, please file a new bug listing steps and a site this happens on. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager
