Both the Firefox product page and the mozilla.org main page are missing any
reference at all to the current version # (1.0.1) of Firefox. This regressed
from the initial pages pushed with 1.0.1 today with a checkin at 2005-02-24
23:17 and 2005-02-25 00:55.
It makes it rather difficult for end-users to determine a new version has been
released, if its not shown on the pages. End-users aren't afraid of version #s
by any means. Considering the pages involved are well-maintained, and were,
until the regression, using variables for the version #. I don't understand why
this information was removed.

"Download Firefox with the latest security and stability updates." simply
doesn't suggest a new version and lacks the indication of the version.
Paricularly considering the Store block on the page refers to Firefox 1.0 :-)

Instead, it should clearly state the version #, so end-users know, without any
sense of ambiguity or vaguery, what version is current, (and therefore, they'll
know if they need to upgrade.)
Thank you. This is a temporary change and will be reverted shortly.
