User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 While Air Canada does support Netscape 6.2 on Windows, it pointedly excludes all other gecko-based browsers, including Netscape 6.2 on the Mac. Since pages ought to work the same on Mozilla, Firefox, etc. they should be convinced to modify their browser detection code to look for Gecko rather than Netscape 6.2 specifically. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Load up http://www.aircanada.com/en/customercare/viewingtips.html in any Gecko-based browser other than Netscape 6.2 for Windows Actual Results: You are told that your browser is not supported. Expected Results: The website should have realized that all Gecko-based browsers are essentially the same.

Summary: Air Canada supports only Netscape 6.2 but not other Gecko-based browsers → aircanada.com - supports Netscape 7.2 but not other Gecko-based browsers
Update: aircanada.com now shows no warning for Firefox on w32 systems, but still does show the warnining for Firefox on OS X systems. This seems to be because they show the warning for any OS X browser, though. Don't know if that means we should mark this as WFM or not.
Mike, we need to edumacate them about Firefox. Firefox don't need no stinkin OS to be good for them.
They now work with Firefox, but give a warning for other Gecko-based browsers that aren't on the list. They should just support Gecko, not any specific Gecko browser.

Summary: aircanada.com - supports Netscape 7.2 but not other Gecko-based browsers → aircanada.com - supports Netscape 7.2 and Firefox but not other Gecko-based browsers
They don't need to support other Gecko based browsers, it's enough if you don't get a warning. I visited http://www.aircanada.com with Seamonkey and got no popup or warning. Can anyone tell me on which link on their page i get the warning ?
I'm pretty sure this was obvious before, so I'd say it's safe to call this FIXED.
