User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1 Upon upgrading to Firefox 1.0.1 from 1.0 I lost my location bar history and when I type an address in manually and hit enter it crashes the browser. Typing in an address manually and clicking GO works, although it still does not add the location to the location bar history drop down, this remains empty. I reinstalled Firefox 1.0.1 again and the problem persists. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Type URL in manually in location bar 2.hit enter 3.Crash Actual Results: Firefox crashes Expected Results: It should have worked.

I'm having that same problem when I upgraded from 1.0 to 1.0.1. When I type anything at all, including any about: or chrome: commands, it crashes.

Okay, deleting both the xpti.dat in your active profile directory and the autocomplete.xpt in your \firefox\components\ dir fixes this problem.

Same problem here, I've just downloaded the latest version too. The green arrow (GO) works just fine, but when I hit enter, it crash.
