I upgraded from 1.0 to 1.0.1 on Windows XP SP2.  After I upgraded, the green
"updates available" icon appeared next to the Help menu item, and when I click
on it, it tells me no updates are available, yet it doesn't disappear.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Firefox 1.0.1 after upgrading from 1.0.

Actual Results:  
Updates Available icon is visible next to the Help menu item.

Expected Results:  
After clicking on the icon, and finding that no updates are available, the icon
should disappear.
