Bug # 261819 is marked closed for 0.9, but is still present in 1.0! Please
reopen. I'm marking "major" since this can (and does) result in misdirected
e-mail. Cut-and-pasted description:

When putting an address in the "To:" field of a new email, if there isn't a
match in my address book Thunderbird will offer an auto-completed address using
the default domain I have set. When I overtype that with the actual domain I
want, sometimes after hitting tab (to get to the Subject field) Thunderbird will
overwrite the domain I typed with the default domain.

This only happens once in a while, but I had several e-mails go astray after
upgrading to 0.8 so I've been watching the "To" field more closely.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start typing an address in the "To" field, but pause before entering the @
part of the address. Wait for Thunderbird to suggest completion with the default
domain.
2. Overtype the suggested completed address with the real domain
3. Hit tab, and observe that the "To" address has reverted to the originally
suggested completed address.

Actual Results:
I watched as the domain part of the address I typed got replaced by the default
domain.

Expected Results:
The address should not have been changed.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Version: unspecified → 1.0
