It could be really nice if I was able to mark a mail Read/Unread just be right
clikcing on it on choosing Mark -> Unread.
So please add in the to mail context

In 4.x, we couldn't right-click without selecting the message, so the message
was marked read anyway. I guess there's marking unread, though. Anyway,
reassigning to jglick, cc putterman.

It seems like if we keep adding things like this that the context menus will
start to become big and complicated again which is something I thought we were
trying to avoid. The green diamond column doesn't take up too much room and
already serves the same one click mark read/unread functionality.
Agree with Phil and Putterman. There is also the "M" key. In 4.7 pressing "M"
toggles the selected message "Read/Unread" status. I'm assuming we will have
this in SeaMonkey as well?

Ok, marking this wontfix since there are already two quick-access ways to mark
messages read/unread.
