283768 - Firefox 1.10 Build (20050224) doesn't ascend hangs--no browser window

When I installed Firefox release 1.1, all went well in that the Install verified
OK, but after, didnot ascend to the main browser window as it should have. I saw
no window, even after removing a prior build and installing this twice--once
with a prior build, then once without.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install with prior build on machine, FF says an instance is running, setup
shuts it down and installs--no errmgs.
2. Double-click on FF icon to ascend to FF Main window.
3. Remove all builds on  machine, reinstall newer 1.1 Release build (20050224)
Actual Results:  
Nothing. No Main FF Window.

Expected Results:  
Newer Release FF 1.01 (20050224)should run.

WinXP Pro + SP2, RAM: 1024MB, Spybot 1.3, AVAST! 4.6 AV, Sygate FW.

Is this bug still reproducable? Please upgrade to a newer version of Firefox, preferably a nightly testing build available at http://www.mozilla.org/developer and report back with your results. Thank you.
