Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1

I do not want to be taken to the firefox start page by default, and I especially
do not want to use any start page that uses Google (also do not like Google
being the default in the list above -personal preference).

So, I unchecked the option at the end of the installation. However, whenever
firefox was started each time, it had the firefox start page set; and it had to
be manually changed.

This may be a bug, oversight, or done on purpose. If it is a bug, please take a
look to see if it is only on our computers configuration or if this happens on
others as well.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install firefox 1.0.1
2.at end of installation, uncheck to set default page to firefox's start page
3.

Actual Results:
I ran firefox, closed it, ran it; and each time it had the default until we
changed it.

Expected Results:
It should have imported the start page set in IE -which was not firefox's start
page in my case.
