This report doesn't have enough information to be useful. Which kanji characters
are not being displayed, and what appears instead? Can you attach a minimized
testcase, or a screenshot?

Works for me.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050316

The page displays properly when set to view in "Shift_JIS".
Which, consequently, is what the page has been written for:

charset=shift_jis

Perhaps the reporter has simply neglected to choose the correct encoding method?

View/Page Info/General tab/Encoding: Shift_JIS
text/html; charset=shift_jis

while using Mozilla 1.8b2 build 2005040305 under XP Pro SP2.

I see what appears to be Japanese characters. Since we got no reply from
reporter regarding Simon's questions, I am resolving this bug as WORKSFORME.
Reporter: you may reopen this bug if you can provide more details, info,
specifics and preferably a reduced testcase and/or a screenshot.
