Notification of new email is very usefull. AFAIK Linux version offers only
play-sound actoion.
Adding
  1) system tray icon (same as in win32 version)
  2) general run-program action (to run given program/script)
would be very usefull.

I consider it almost a bug, because it makes linux verion almost useless in
comparsion with win32 version, if one is in example working in office and
communicationg with boss/clients, and he must respond to email in 5-10 minutes.
