283920 - Firefox cannot start - display error and need complete machine cleanup

if i install over a Engish version the browser never comes up. there only comes
a error window up with yellow background and many errors inside.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
0. uninstall all versions you are using
1. delete "Mozilla Firefox" Folder in Program Files
2. delete "Mozilla" and "Mozilla Firefox" Folderin Application Folder
3. install the english version, start it, configure ist and work with it some days
4. install the localized and suxxx buggy german version
5. try to start FF. it crashes with the yellow error window, containing red errors

Actual Results:  
a complete cleanup of the machine is required

Expected Results:  
startup smoothly

this occours since the first german Firefox release (first seen since 0.9)

Is this still a problem now, with the new installer et al? Or is it INVALID/WFM?

What new installer you are talking about? Have you changed the installer since 
1.0.4?

i need to uninstall DPBeta2 first, but i'm sure this bug is inside.

Ok, after a Test now i can confirm this bug seems fixed in 1.0.6_en-US/de-DE. 
But this is not invalid. Try out with 1.0.1 version and you will see the bug!

sorry, got it back. i reinstalled firefox EN, then DE langpack and Language 
Switcher. Closed FX, moved my old C:\Dokumente und 
Einstellungen\Administrator\Anwendungsdaten\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\zmyr5zsq.d
efault back and restarted FX. now i have a red error back. the red error 
contains "extension". maybe releated, not sure.

well, the language pack and the language switcher are both installed into the
profile. If you replace the profile, you got problems.

I am sure that this problem is gone now, especially it shouldn't be present in
1.5b2. And we do *not* care about people *installing* 1.0.1 at this time. If its
not reproducable with 1.0.7 or 1.5b2, its not an issue anymore.
