Details

The sample SanePlugin (in mozilla/modules/plugin/samples/SanePlugin)
1. is not built with enable-tests or any other configure option
2. has numerous build config problems
3. tries to use no-longer-existent parts of nsComponentManager
4. does not properly handle OOM (very important -- bug 283542)
5. probably more, I gave up.
The file seems to be gone from hg (checked with mxr)
