I am using Firefox-1.0.1 compiled from source.  I have the realplayer, shockwave
and java plug-ins installed, which are shown by going to the about: plugins
page.  However the plug-ins list obtained via the
Preferences->Downloads->Plug-ins dialog does not show anything.  Notwithstanding
this, the plugins appear to work correctly.

This is not the same bug as bug #283043.  Going to the about: plugins page does
not subsequently cause the plugins list to be populated.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Preferences->Downloads dialog
2. Click the Plug-ins button to bring up the plugins list
3.

Actual Results:  
The plugins list is empty

Expected Results:  
The plugins list to be populated by the plugins shown at the about: plugins page

The first time I started firefox as root I got a message about libgnomevfs which
I will attach as a file to this bug.  I have gnome-vfs-2.8.2 installed, and
firefox is compiled against gtk+-2.6.2.  My .mozconfig is:
