"Interactive" means "uses java". If several browser windows are opened, all vanish. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit www.map24.de 2. Enter a location to search 3. hit return Actual Results: crash Expected Results: no crash with deactivated Java it is possible to visit the static site.
Just tested with Linux: It works with Firefox 1.0pre and sun java 1.4.2 Problem only with Windows XP?!
Keywords: crash
Crash also happens on Win2k SP2, with FF1.0 and FF1.0.2. One time it think reinstalling java solved the problem.
This bug also appears on Mozilla Suite. And it seems that reinstalling Java does NOT eliminate the problem.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050405 Firefox/1.0+ Java Plug-in 1.5.0 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper) WFM on latest-trunk with Java 5.0/1.5.0 installed. Reporter or Commentors: Can you reproduce this in latest milestone builds or preferably a trunk build with the latest JVM? If this only occurs with the older JVM (1.4.2), then I am going to assume it should be safe to mark this WFM.
Installed Java 1.5 and disabled my Adblock Extension. Now is works with FF1.0_de. After searching a bit i found this: http://aasted.org/adblock/viewtopic.php?t=1754&highlight=map24+de So the solution seems to be to disable "Object Tabs" in the Adblock Extension. Maybe Frank can check this with his configuration to see if it prevents the crash.
Reporter: Please test this with a clean profile, especially in light of the fact this may be caused by an issue with an extension. If you don't experience the problem with a clean profile, please mark this WFM.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 WFM, and also works on FF Trunk per my comment #4. Reporter: I am going to go ahead and mark this WFM, if this still occurs for you on a clean profile (using a clean profile doesn't interfere with Java any), then please re-open. Per comment #5, this appears to be an issue caused by the Adblock extension. <-WFM
