Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 I have needed to recently reload my system a couple of times and each time all of the information under Password Manager and Form Manager has been lost. It would really be nice to have an import/export function that will save all the data under these components to an external file. Of course, given the sensitivity of the information I would expect the data to be encrypted and to be importable after given the right password. An added bonus would be if the backup function also saved all the preference information including bookmarks and cookie data. In the past I have tried to backup the user preference folder and then restore it when I have reloaded Firefox. This usually has been inconsistant at best. Hence the need to allow the user to backup all of his preference data and then re-import it when the system has been restored. Reproducible: Always
