Some messages need to be saved for auditing purposes and I have been unable to
save the email message to my desktop.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.attempt to move email to desktop
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Message won't move from Thunderbird to the desktop

Expected Results:
Allow the email message to be moved/saved to desktop
Reporter, doesn't File->Save As->File work ? At this monment it only saves a
single at a time, though.

if you want to drag&drop the messages, it's a dupe of bug 227305.

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

reproduction information if you have it.
