New words typed also continue to have the same attributes as in Rich Text format. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Steps to reproduce 1. Invoke mozilla mailer 2. Invoke composer 3. Key in some sentences and change the text to any desired color. also italisice and make text bold 4. Now highlight the text and make it "plain text only" ( options->format ->plain text only) Actual Results: the RTF text is not affected. Expected Results: the Rich Text must be converted back to plain text.
This is actually the send format, not the composition format. If you want to remove the text formatting the menu item is Format -> Remove All Text Styles.
