It does not sounds to be the trule UI feedback bug and I don't really 
know how to deal with your package. reassign it to installer XPL package 
component so someone understand can take a look.

We have opened a beta of chromezone.org at 
http://www.mozillazine.org/chromezone/ .  I kind of feel that this resolves this 
bug to fixed, but someone else can decide that.
