What page are you on when this happens?

I'm surprised if this bug isn't a duplicate, since I've noticed this behaviour since older versions. Here is an example page: http://mrpoll.com/threads.m?poll_id=947910408 Try a Ctrl-click on any link in the "messages" section. It seems to be caused by this javascript: http://mrpoll.com/table_list.js There are more websites with this problem -- I'll try to jot down the URLs next time. OS should be "all" (cmd-click for Macs).

If the setting under tab settings called "Open links in the background" is checked then this occurs, if un check this setting then it will not occur.
