Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1

When I updated from Firefox 1.0 to 1.0.1 then my home page was reset to the
default home page that is used for fresh installs. I realised afterwards that
there had been a checkbox at the end of the install to reset it. The checkbox
was on by default.

While this could be a reasonable thing to do on fresh install, then the home
page should not be modified on update (the last page of the install should be
skipped or at least the checkbox should be off by default on update).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Firefox 1.0.
2. Set a different home page then the default home page.
3. Update to Firefox 1.0.1 and accept all defaults.

Actual Results:
The home page had been reset.

Expected Results:
That my home page settings would not have been modified during an update from
1.0 to 1.0.1.
