I updated firefox 1.0 to 1.0.1 over the update function.
After the update a setup file (firefox setup 1.0.1.exe about 5mb) was on my desktop
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. update firefox over the install function
2.

Actual Results:
after the installation the setup file is still on the desktop
Expected Results:
1. Temp Files like the setup file should be stored in the temp folder an not on
the desktop
2. temp files should be deleted after a sucessfull the installation

This is actually intentional. We don't leave it there, we intentionally copy it
there. This was to help work around bugs caused by
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=260700

sorry intentionally or not. Leaving setup files on the desktop is a bug of the
installer.
On shared profiles, this files up the prfile for nothing.
Create a shortcut to the setup file in the temp dir, if you need something on
the desktop.
For me there is no reason to put a setup file to the desktop, without any
comment to the user

We're not going to fix this behavior with the 1.0.x releases. On the trunk and
for 1.1 and beyond, it shouldn't happen at all.
