same again after 1.0.2
This is actually intentional. We don't leave it there, we intentionally copy it there. This was to help work around bugs caused by https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=260700

sorry intentionally or not. Leaving setup files on the desktop is a bug of the installer. On shared profiles, this files up the prfile for nothing. Create a shortcut to the setup file in the temp dir, if you need something on the desktop. For me there is no reason to put a setup file to the desktop, without any comment to the user

We're not going to fix this behavior with the 1.0.x releases. On the trunk and for 1.1 and beyond, it shouldn't happen at all.
