When you copy and paste a task whose name ends in an (or more than one) á
character(s) (i.e. Mamá or Mamáááááá), the name of the just pasted calendar task
misses all those á characters.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. In calendar create a new event an type some text in its title. Make sure that
the last character of the title is á (i.e. mamá)
2. Accept the new event clicking on OK
3. In the calendar copy this just created event and paste it in some other day
4. Check the name of this just pasted event: those ending á characters are lost

Actual Results:  
The title of the just pasted event is mam

Expected Results:  
The title should be mamá

What versions are you using?  (Help | About)

I was not able to reproduce this using Sunbird 0.2 20050111 on w2k.
I was not able to reproduce this using Thunderbird 1.0 with Calendar extension
2004011112-cal on w2k.

I copied the string mamá from this bug report page, which displayed in my
browser using utf-8.  I pasted it in both the Title and Note.  I then copied the
whole event to another day in week view.  I closed the application, restarted,
and trying copying it again.  Each time it worked for me.

Attachment: Calendar file containing two events which reproduce the error

The event on March, 7th is the original and the one on March, 8th was
copied/pasted from the former. As you can see the title is the same except the
last character.

The ics file does not have the version of the sunbird program or calendar
extension.  
Could you give the version number date from menu Help | About ?
If it is the calendar extension, could you give the version number of the base
program (firefox, thunderbird, mozilla suite) ?
