Duncan, could you upgrade to Thunderbird 1.0 and retest?
Keywords: crash
(In reply to comment #1) > Duncan, could you upgrade to Thunderbird 1.0 and retest? I have done that, and after a false start which I resolved, the problem has gone away. Thanks. I thought I had upgraded, but I found that the version 0.9 executable on my system was thunderbird and the version 1.0 executsble was mozill-thunderbird, so when I thought I was running 1.0 I was actually running 0,9. Problem solved - 0.9 had it but now it's fixed.
