Build Identifier: Microsoft internet explorer

showed critical update, in upper right hand corner of web pate, clicked on
that, went through installation proceedure, installed, then got message the
installation was unable to complete. system crashed. unable to reboot
anything.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.click on shortcut,Firefox nothing happens
2.click on mozilla shortcut, the original yellow box pops up then disappears.
3.

Can't boot up any mozilla or firefox. nothing.
Please provide more specific information. Simply stating "it didn't" work
doesn't help. Tell us what was the exact error message Firefox gave you and what
do you mean with "unable to reboot anything". Are you able to start Firefox or
Mozilla Suite after rebooting system?

Any ideas what other programs/configuration might be causing this?

Nancy, can you locate and delete your Firefox directory, probably in C:\Program
Files\ and then reinstall 1.0
<http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/1.0/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%201.0.exe>
and then try the update again and report back here?
