User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050302 Firefox/1.0.1 Fedora/1.0.1-1.3.2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050302 Firefox/1.0.1 Fedora/1.0.1-1.3.2

The nativations buttons containing text on the Amazon site check out pages do
not appear. The work around is to blindly move about with the mouse pointer
until it changes to show that it is on a link. However, that is troublesome and
in some cases I have not been able to find the links, a fact which may indicate
that this workaround does not always work(around). This only happens on the
secure pages at the time of checking out. For security reasons I altered the
link in the URL field above.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. put a book in the shopping basket (a good one)
2. go to check out and pass through the secure portal
3. try to place the order and check out in the usual way that one does these
things on Amazon... you know, clicking buttons and such like.

Actual Results:
I do not see the graphic button links, and also do not see the text which
normally appears in them. I cannot complete the transaction which, sadly I must
say, is contributing to reduced turn over for Amazon.

Expected Results:
The graphic links (containing text which seems to be ascii generated) are not
visible.

Konquorer on the same platform (RH Fedora 3/KDE) does not have this problem.
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.

I have not encountered this problem for a long time now. This may be because I have changed from using
FireFox on Fedora Core 3, and am now using Firefox on Mac G5 OS X Tiger where it does not occur; or it
may be because the problem has been resolved in Firefox in general, or it may be because Amazon has
done something to improve accessability on its website which fixed this. I cannot tell. However, I no longer
have the problem and can say nothing more about it.
works for me
