I installed bugxula and can't find the listing on the extensions panel. I went
back and investigated the XPI and found that it had no install.rdf. Firefox
should never let me install something that lacks a manifest.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Version: unspecified → 1.0 Branch
It is intentional that you can install extensions which only include a install.js.

Its intentional that you let people break the browser?
Backwards compatibility, see if this wouldn't have been, you couldn't have
installed Bugxula :)
Yes, I installed Bugxula, it wasn't compatible, and I had to blow away my whole
profile to get rid of it.
