I have a local mail folder that has 2 email messages in it.
The pane that lists the folders says it has 3.
The pane that lists all the messages in the folder shows 2.
I have only ever copied two messages to this folder, and the
folder only contains two lines that look like this
> From - Sat Feb 19 00:48:57 2005
Desired result: count of messages in folder pane agrees with
count shown in message list pane.
Actual result: folder pane counts one too many messages.
Reproducible: always, with this folder.
Will attach screen shot.

This is with moz 1.8a6.
Is it the count that is wrong, or is there an "invisible" mail in your mailbox file?

Well, IINM, moz uses those lines that begin with "From - " to delimit
messsages. There are only two such lines. There really are only 2
messages in the folder file.
