Sorry - my fault. The crash seems to be caused by an extension: Marc Gueurys Tidy based HTML Validator. - No problems after deactivating this extension.

Thanks for the testcase. It was very clear and helped me to find the problem straight away. I logged a base bug in Tidy http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1158650&group_id=27659&atid=390963 You can download a new version of the extension here (0.56) where the problem is fixed. http://users.skynet.be/mgueury/mozilla/ Marc
