Tested on solaris 7, build with egcs with optimize and debug, CVS from Feb 22, plus the changes that fixed the 'crash on link' bugs. Can't find the checkin, sorry. It takes quite some time, but when completed it works like charm. That is, as fast as expect a table 50x50 to be. I successfully inserted text in a few cells. Memory consumption was 50MB with bugzilla and editor open. Pike
I couldn't reproduce this.

I've tried inserting a 50 x 50 table and it freezes....or maybe it just takes so long that it never comes in...but I don't crash... should I reopen this bug? there's definitely something wrong inserting a 50 x 50 table on my Windows 98 box
I take that back.....turns out it takes a really really long time...I just didn't give it enough time...but yeah it takes about a couple minutes to bring in a 50 x 50 table.... is this what we want? marking verified in 3/6 build.
