I have developed a new Firefox Extension called:

Name:
RIP - Remove It Permanently.

Size:
24K

Install URL:

http://downloads.mozdev.org/rip/rip.xpi

Short Description:

Remove unwanted content from a Web Page permanently

Long Description:

This extension give you the power to remove unwanted content from any
Web Page by simply click and selecting "Remove this Permanently". The
extension will remember this removal and the next time the page is
loaded will attempt to remove the content in the same area of the
page. If you don't like what was removed simply use "Undo Last Rip"
from the Edit menu and magically the content will be restored. A tray
icon is included which provides a summary of what was removed A
Options Dialog is provided allowing you to tailor how Rip removes
content. For example: you can specify wildcards in the URL address to
match multple pages and you can Edit the specific XPath down to the
content with something more generic e.g. //div[@class='ad'] will find
all div's on the current page with a class attribute = 'ad'.

Supported Languages:

English for now, but utilizes DTD's for easy translations.
