User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050305 Firefox/1.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050305 Firefox/1.0+ The new Saved Passwords window lacks a resize widget in its bottom right corner to indicate this is a resizeable window. This would make it consistant with the View Downloaded Files and View Cookies windows, and be more user-friendly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open the Options UI 2.On the Password tab click on "View Saved Passwords" 3. Actual Results: Window opens, is resizeable, but gives no visual indication that this window can be resized. Expected Results: There should be a resize widget in the bottom right of the window.
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050404 Firefox/1.0+ (In reply to comment #0) Status -> NEW I can confirm that there is no resize icon in the bottom-right corner of the mentioned window. Using Metacity on GNOME on Linux, all windows are resizable, so it doesn't apply to me, but I checked on Windows, and the window is resizable, so I can confirm this.

This is a dupe, we need support for drawing the gtk2 resize widget.

(In reply to comment #2) > This is a dupe, we need support for drawing the gtk2 resize widget. Under WinXP the View Download History window has the required widget but not the Saved Password window. I don't think this has anything to do with gtk2.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050419 Firefox/1.0+ I also don't think this is a Dupe of any existing bug (if it is, I can't find it). The issue is there is no resize widget on the bottom right of the 'Saved Passwords' window, even tho the window is actually resizable. Removing DUPEME from whiteboard.

Even though I'm just a Firefox user, and not a developer, I would like to pass along a suggestion: If, for technical reasons, it proves difficult to add a resize widget, would it be possible to set the default vertical size of the window to be a few times larger than it currently is? That would solve the problem of the window being far too small. By the way, I see that the severity of this bug has been set to "trivial". It certainly doesn't seem trivial when trying to scroll down through my current list of seemingly hundreds of passwords, because the window is so small. I have to scroll a lot, because there does not seem to be any way to search for text within the URLs listed.
I see a resize widget with 1.5, on Windows. WFM?

Eric, care to post a screenshot? I can see it on branch/trunk Windows/Mac...
Screenshot from Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060116 Firefox/1.5. Resize widget still missing.
I have to retract my "WFM" comment from above, I see this too on Windows, default, theme, Classic.
This bug has been long fixed since the whole preference windows were redesigned a while back.
