Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1 Unlike Camino, Firefox, when opening a new browser window: Firefox will tile the new window down. When running the browser in full screen this inevitably drops the bottom of the page off the viewable area. Camino will overlay the new window directly over the old one so that the new window is fully on the screen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Firefox 2. Stretch window to full screen. 3. Mac-N (open new window) Actual Results: it'll tile the window down. Both window's title bars are now visible; but the bottom of the window is gone. Expected Results: New window should overlay the old window exactly. Both windows should be full screen. If browser isn't full screen; new window shouldn't ever be created so that it's off the screen. Default settings. (BTW: keep up the excellent work! Been using Firefox since 0.5 ... errr... preFirefox.)
Camino does tile in most cases but full screen is a special case. See bug 236361 comment 14.

This is a duplicate just don't know of which one right now. Another thing you might note is that it only happens when the Firefox window is not maximized using the green button.

Maximized? Maximize brings it to only 3/4-screen! Perhaps that is a whole other issue.
