This may be a default behaviour in other browsers, but it is counterintuitive
and annoying at best, and now that Apple has changed the keyboards on their
laptops to include two command keys, the major reasoning for "fixing" bug 166284
has been removed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to any page
2. Hit the delete key once the page loads

Actual Results:  
Browser acts like I just selected "Back" from the Go menu.

Expected Results:  
Nothing.

With all due respect, the delete key acting as the back button seems like an
incredibly geeky (and dangerous) feature.  Until the thread in the MozillaZine
forums, I never knew of a single Mac user who used it (and I didn't know of it
myself until experiencing it in a bad way).  There's nothing wrong with having
geeky features in Camino, but by and large they seem to be "hidden" (and not the
default--even tabs aren't on by default, and tabs hardly seem like a geeky
feature in 2005).

Given how easy it is to click in the wrong place (edge of a text field, for
instance), lose focus, and then lose data when hitting delete, can we at the
very least entertain an option (hidden or otherwise) to turn the delete=back
mapping off?  

I'm reopening this bug as an enhancement request to discuss providing some
option for turning off the delete=back mapping....

name a browser on the mac that *doesn't* do this. safari does, camino does,
mozilla does, MacIE does. there's nothing secret here, every browser does it.
