I recently upgraded to windows XP Pro. Since then I cannot get fierfox to work. 
I have un-installed and re-installed about adozen time and each time firefox 
opens in text only. If I click on the words tools, bookmarks, etc. all I get is 
a black box.

Reproducible: Always

2.install
3.run

I don't lay claim to a lot of knowledge about Windows, but I strongly 
suspect that you need to check the FAQ sheet and other troubleshooting resources
for Firefox.

You need to install Firefox in a new directory and remove your old profile.
