Hi,

My developer and I love Firefox, this is our way of getting more Canadians using
Firefox (and encouraging Yahoo! to support Firefox).

I have read through your trademark policy and I believe this is appropriate
usage, but because it is such a public site, I wanted to be certain.

Please let us know if we can use your logo in this way. I have a created a mock
at the URL below. I would be happy to change the wording of "Firefox logo
courtesy of mozilla.org" or any of the text as appropriate.

Thanks for your consideration!

Seana Meek
Product Manager, Yahoo! Canada
Seana,

We don't normally allow modifications of the Firefox logo (which part of the
trademark policy made you think we did? We may have to clarify it), but
obviously we have a relationship with Yahoo and so may be able to come to some
arrangement. I'll draw Chris Beard's attention to this bug - he's probably the
man to take this forward.

Gerv
Seana: Would it be a problem to use the original logo and perhaps put a canadian
flag near it or over it or something?

Asa: I added you to CC because I think you would be interested in such an
advertisement to aid in the spreading of Firefox to Canadians. I apologize if
you are not interested.
There have been offline discussions related to this bug with the folks at Y!.
