This relates to bug reports 274123 and 268931. I believe I know the source of
the problem. When I have multiple tabs open and hit a PDF download button, and
then try to view another tab, not only does the PDF go white and say "done", but
closing Firefox and re-booting doesn't fix it. Sometimes an XP cold start
helps. But I've also found that the only sure way to bring everything back is
to run a ScanDisk.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open 2 or more tabs
2.click on a PDF download button on one of the tabbed pages
3.hit another tab to view it
AS BEST AS I CAN TELL, THIS IS WHAT'S CAUSING THE INSTABILITY. PS - LOVE YOU GUYS.

Actual Results:
No PDF download. Re-start of Firefox did not fix. Cold start of XP fixed it
sometimes. The only sure fix is to run a full ScanDisk.

Expected Results:
PDF download cleanly.

Firefox is a wonderful product.
Try upgrading to Acrobat Reader 7 and see if it helps. This is a dupe
