Context menu invoked by right-clicking on an image in a web page had "copy image
location" (copy image url to clipboard) item in mozilla builds up to and
including 1.8a5. It is missing in 1.8b1. Put it back please. Tested windows and
os/2 builds - both have this problem, both in plain image context menu and image
with a link context menu.

Steps to repeat:
1. right-click on the left side of the banner, 'Copy Image'
2. paste it into some textareas here, the link is inserted:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/mozilla-banner.gif
3. open irfanview, edit->paste inserts the gif.
nice free software: http://www.irfanview.com/
it is somehow confusing, but the functionality is there.
Yes, according to bug 210043 and bug 135300 , "copy image location" has been
changed to "copy image", but it is supposed to copy the image itself *and* text
(URI), not just the text.

This bug is NOT a duplicate of bug 135300!
Bug 135300 deals with the missing Copy Image functionality, which would copy the
image itself into memory for pasting in a image editing program.
This bug deals with the menu item Copy Image Location, which copied the image
URL into memory. It had disappeared in Mozilla 1.8 Beta 1

No see comment 2.

Read bug 135300 and you see this was done intentionally. One menu item - two
tasks (copy image AND url).
Sorry for starting this up and vanishing for so long. I've read the discussion
and would like to add additional comments:
1. Combined pasting of image and url is not always a great idea - some programs
accept both image and text, so you will have to sort this out later while
pasting. Well, this is minor inconvenience which I can live with.
2. More serious, nothing is copied when image is unavailable. When checking a
broken link, tuning an over-zealos ad blocker, etc, etc, I could've copied
missing image url to a clipboard via context menu 'copy url', now it is broken
and to see the missig image url I have to pore over html source. Not nice, still
want it back badly. Better to return to the old 'two context menu items for
image and url' but at least 'if image is uavailable copy url anyway' fix should
be implemented.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.

After long time using Mozzilla 1.7.13 I've installed SeaMonkey 1.0.6 and I am disapointed, that function Copy Image Location is not in image content menu anymore. This is step back.
