PDF attchments uploaded using Firefox download as source data. It does not
matter what browser the attachments are downloaded with; if the PDF attachments
were uploaded with Firefox then the download will be trash. Once downloaded, it
will not open at all. You can use your browser to try and "view" the
attachment, but it just looks like source data.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log into your email account using firefox.
2. Send yourself an email, attach a PDF to it.
3. Send.
4. Congratulations! You now have one more unusable document in your inbox.

Actual Results:
The downloaded PDF is completely unusable. It will not open at all. You can
use your browser to try and "view" the attachment, but it just looks like source
data. It looks like what would be the code used to write the PDF.

Expected Results:
The downloaded PDF should have openned in Adobe Acrobat, and looked exactly like
the one you originally attached.

This happens only in firefox. I tested the latest build of mozilla and it
worked fine.
When downloading a pdf document (made by myself with acrobat reader 5) the
document will appear unusable. it is a 'streams' document, or a MS excel document.
The name of the downloaded document only exists of the first 5 symbols / untill
the first [open space] in the original name.
I use mac OSX 10.3.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
