User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1

If I send a file from MS Excel using the File > Send To > Mail Recipient (as
Attachment)... the file gets attached to the message with a .tmp extension. This
has happened with opened files as well as new files, and has been reproducable
on different computers.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Microsoft Excel
2. Create a new workbook or open an existing one
3. Go to File > Send To > Mail Recipient (as Attachment)...
4. Thunderbird then opens up a compose message window, which shows the
attachment as a different name (<some_text>.tmp). It happens every time
Actual Results:
The recipient is unable to open the message without renaming the extension, or
they will never see the e-mail since it may be thought of as a virus. The
workaround is to first save the file to the hard drive then open a compose
message window, and then attach the file.

Expected Results:
Attached the file using the correct file name and extension, like it does in the
other Office software (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

I'm using Office 2000 and have seen this happen with Office 2002/XP as well.
