The task switcher icons are no longer evenly spaced. If you click on the Navigator icon, the other icons shift right by a few pixels. Linux build 2000.02.18.08

german, can you take a look and see whether we should give a detailed specification ( how much spece is needed between the icons)?

This is fixed again. So unless you want to keep this bug around for the spec, you can mark FIXED.

seeing the same problem on win32 for both browser (see screenshot from 0306 09:18) and addressbook, but not for mail (they are probably not using the overlays properly :-). Forwarding to Don's team to see whether any recent changes caused this to happen...

I'm seeing this with 2000030813 build on Mac OS 8.6. In the initial Navigator window the spacing between taskbar icons is fine. In any subsequent Navigator windows that are opened the icons are squished up close together. Updating Platform and OS to All.

QA Assigning non-confidential New/Assigned User Interface: Design Feedback bugs to Matthew Thomas (mpt@mailandnews.com). Matthew Thomas is now the QA owner for the User Interface: Design Feedback component. (Bugs that involve UI issues in the Netscape-branded Mozilla browser should continue be QA assigned to elig@netscape.com.)

Looks fine to me, MacOS build 2000042808, in * first Navigator window * subsequent Navigator window * Messenger window * Composer window * Address Book window. Resolving WORKSFORME. Eli, please verify on a commercial build, since they have more components in their taskbar (so squashing may still be an issue). Thanks.
