User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1

When leaving Firefox open and minimized for long periods of time (a day or so)
with one or more tabs open. The bookmarks toolbar icons are removed and replaced
by a clickable arrow that provides a menu that accesses the bookmarks in the
toolbar folder.

While I believe it happens with both maximized (big box button) windows that
have been minimized and non maximized (2 overlayed boxes button) windows that
have been minimized. The latest occurance was with a non maximized window that
was minimimized. When I brought it back from the taskbar the icons had
disappeared, but when I hit the maximize button so the window would take up the
full screen the icons were once again on the toolbar. I have not noticed this
action correcting it in the past possibly because the windows had been full
screen before being maximized.

This problem seems to only affect a window at a time, just because one window
has the problem other istances of firefox might not, and some might also have
it. I know for sure that if you open a new instance while the problem occurs on
other windows the problem will be corrected in the new window but not the old ones.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. browse www in firefox
2. minimize browser
3. return many hours later

Actual Results:
browser maximizes from taskbar but book marks toolbar icons are missing form the
toolbar (tool bar remains but is empty)

Expected Results:
the icons should have remained
For me any resizing of the window in question will cause the bookmarks toolbar
folder icons to reappear.
Confirmed, attempting to reproduce it under 1.0.3 again as it just happened
right now. So far the only "quick" way to correct it is by selecting view > hide
/ show the bookmarks toolbar. Otherwise calling up the customize toolbar window
and closing it out seems to refresh all toolbars.
Happens for for me too (1.0.3) can't find a 100% way to reproduce it though.
Ok. There is absolutly no real way I can think of to reproduce this as it just
occured while i was flipping through tabs *poof* ">>" gone like that before my
eyes. Confirming that resizing the browser appears to also bring bookmarks back
to their normal state, but I can't seem to identify the exact cause. This
appears to also occur under my windows 2000 boxes as well.
I am using Firefox 1.0.4 and am still experiencing this issue on two separate
workstations, both running Windows XP SP2. I encounter the error most
frequently when the window has been open for more than 2 hours. (usually with
multiple tabs, but I don't know if that makes a difference)

Is this bug 266737 again?
Bug only happens (to me) while viewing nu.nl.
Other people report it takes hours to happen, with me it can happen within 15
minutes.
Fixed in trunk builds.
