Details
Build: 2000021608 To reproduce: * Start the Installer, and progress to the installation location page. * Observe the default location chosen by the Installer. What you should see: * `in folder "Applications" on disk "Macintosh HD"', or similar (unless an existing Mozilla installation is detected) What you actually see: * `on disk "Macintosh HD"', or similar (unless an existing Mozilla installation is detected) It's good manners to install a program in the Applications folder (or its equivalent for a given MacOS locale), rather than the root directory of the hard disk.

Chatted with Mac heads and we have decided to stick with defaulting the install location to the root of the boot volume: 1> This was a feature request from the Mac heads. 2> We will have higher visibility (apparently not all Mac users are aware of the new OS 8.5 Applicatiosn folder). Further, we want to make it as simple as possible for users to find the Mozilla Folder. 3> Primarily Apple software is installed in the Applications folder. Thanks for the suggestion.
