I wanted to comment on the extension that allows Firefox 1.01 to spoof IE and Opera, etc. IT CAUSES A JAVA ERROR THAT STUFFS FIREFOX. The only way to resolve it is to lose *all* your preferences and extensions. To me, that's pretty serious. But can I comment on this extension? No, I can't. Hence this bug needs fixing - pronto. </rant> Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Use "User Agent Switcher 0.6.1" 2.Close Firefox 3.Try to start Firefox again. Actual Results: Error message about not using Netscape java in IE, use IE java instead. Firefox simply will not load after this. (THIS IS SERIOUS) There are several pages on this error...google for "JAVA error opening Firefox" and you will see that you are not alone. I tried to comment on this extension on the download page, but I just can't, so presumable other users are still downloading this extension, unaware that it will break Firefox. Expected Results: Allowed me to comment on the extension and warn others not to download it! This extension worked fine with earlier Firefox versions, so one assumes it will work with V1.01. Instead, it totally stuffs Firefox. I had to resort to IE to get this error fixed. Not good.
