The complete address for one specific pop up that continues to evade Mozilla's
pop up block is
http://z1.adserver.com/w/cp.x;rid=652;tid=5;ev=2;ac=60;mid=5038
Z1 apparently has found a way to circumvent Mozilla's pop up blocker. I do NOT
have it entered in my "pop up exceptions." These pop ups are getting more and
more frequent, now a couple of times a day at least.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

The pop ups seem very random and pop up visiting completely different sites,
that don't seem related in any way.
Your URL is the ad, that is useless. We need the URL which opens that ad/pop up
to see how it works. If you cannot provide such an URL, this bug should be closed.

Hi there,

I have found another site with pop-under that evades Mozilla:

http://club.cdfreaks.com/lite/t-129341.html

It only occurs the once but if you clear your history and revisit it occurs again.

Here's another site that circumvents pop-up blocker:

http://www.bobbrinker.com/secure/mktmrlogin.asp

It doesn't do it every time, but frequently enough. View Source on this page
may be instructive.
Another site that goes around the blocker:
www.jpost.com - I think it saves a cookie so, if you open it again from the same
machine, it doesn't pop-under again.
http://www.cdfreaks.com/news/11914 seems to be using similiar code, as I'm
getting tribalfusion.com pops from them when visiting cdreaks.com
http://www.unitedmedia.com/comics/dilbert/index.html (Dilbert)
http://www.ucomics.com/nonsequitur/ (Non Sequitur)

I too have seen popups appear even with 'Block popup Windows' checked from these
sites - not every time but frequently and the advertiser address is
http://a.tribalfusion.com.

I don't recall these 'pests' appearing with prior versions of Firefox -
currently using 1.04.
I've had the problem with ads from tribalfusion when visiting
www.experts-exchange.com from a Google search result.
Another site with popups that show up in Firefox: http://febbrasil.cjb.net/

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716
Firefox/1.0.6
This info eally belongs in bug 253831 (which is a collecting point for websites
which evade the pop up blocker). Howevre, should this bug be duped should
something else be done?
