285899 - when using nightly build for March 11, preferences are unavailable

I had been using 0.8.2 and been encountering javascript errors on pages, so I
decided to try the nightly build from 2005 March 5. The errors didn't appear as
often so I continued with the nightly build. I then decided to move to a newer
nightly build. I installed 2005 March 11. I then installed Pangea's VR plug-in
for Quicktime. I had not used Preferences before the install, so I am unsure
whether it is related. I chose to open Preferences to remove cookies, but
preferences never opened. I had to go back to 0.8.2 standard install and the
preferences were once again available. Both the nightly build and 0.8.2 were
installed at the same time, but 0.8.2 had been moved to a folder inside the
Applications folder.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. No special steps. Just noticed that Preferences were not longer available
after the update to nightly build 2005 March 11. The March 12 nightly build
exhibits the same problem.

Expected Results:  
Should open preferences as it does in 0.8.2

Camino did not crash, but operated normally, except for the inability to access
Preferences.

It might be the same problem as follows.

In this case, there was no problem in an old version.

Moved to 0.8.4 and problem disappeared. I assume that it was due to the nightly
build and/or a combination of that build and Camino Extra Preferences.
