User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1

On a website design, I worked on I noticed that firefox crashes or has problems,
when loading a java applet in an iframe, and reloading the iframe/and closing
the div. Sometimes the browser would crash, and sometimes still stays in memory.
So when you started firefox again, you get a profile manager instead.

After that I tried to reproduce this bug.

For other tests about this case, with problems with java applets in iframes see;
http://www.xs4all.nl/~elout/firefox/

tested on
firefox 1.0.1 on Win98
firefox 1.0 preview Release on WinXP

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. click 'show div with java applet content'
2. java applet will now load in iframe
3. click on 'close this div (often crashes)'

Actual Results:
firefox will crash most of the times.
Can you provide a Talkback ID of the crash?

Doesn't crash for me in latest nightly trunk build.
Could you perhaps test this with the latest nightly trunk build?

I downloaded this version, and the bug doesn`t seem to happen anymore.

so let's make this bug WORKSFORME, then?
I've tried also your other tests (it's good to test this, though), but they
don't crash also in the nightly trunk builds.
