i added mail and bookmarks to my toolbar, when i try to drag and take them off
they will not come off toolbar. Other ones did such as paste and cut, but mail
and bookmarks do not come off.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.log on to firefox
2.try to customize toolbar
3.drag mail and bookmarks off toolbar, does not work

Actual Results:
cannot drag mail or bookmarks back to customization toolbar. all others work

Expected Results:
Should be able to drag mail and bookmarks off toolbar.

Platform: Mozilla 1.0.4 on SUSE Linux 9.2

Just as here: I cannot drag bookmarks on the bookmarks folder. Under specific
circumstances however I can see the bookmarks (and add new ones):

When I start Firefox, I can't see my bookmarks in my bookmark toolbar.
However, when I choose Manage Bookmarks, exit Firefox, and start it
again, the bookmarks are displayed in the bookmark toolbar.

How to repeat this bug.
- Put links in the 'Bookmarks Toolbar Folder'
- exit Bookmarks Manager
- start Firefox 1.0.4
->> no links
- Choose bookmarks->manage bookmarks
- exit Firefox (not the bookmarks manager)
- restart Firefox
->> links in the bookmarks toolbar

This solution worked for me:

close all firefox windows and restart firefox in safe mode.

Select only: "reset toolbars and controls"

click on: "make changes and restart"

this solved it for me..... I hope does work the same for you too...
