When printing mail that arrived on a day (and is shown with time only in the
message list), the print-out should not only show the time but the complete date.

In other words: Printing mail should ignore that smart date-time-scheme used for
message lists such as "11:47" for messages that are less than a day old. This
means incoming mail as well as sent mail.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compose mail, send it
2. Switch into Sent folder, and print mail just sent
3. Look at print out, it shows just the time because the message is less than a
day old.

Actual Results:
I see a printout of a mail sent "11:47" (for example).

Expected Results:
Print the entire date, not only the time.
what does it show in the print preview?
I couldn't be bothered actually printing an email, but it looks fine in the
preview, with the full date and time attached in the right bottom corner
Just checked this. No difference to actual print-out, ie time only for mails
sent today.

BUT: I discovered another thing: The bug only shows up for my "Sent:"-folder,
not the inbox.
i can't reproduce the bug.
Maybe this is a linux-only bug or a debian-package-only one?
what version of Thunderbird are you using?
have you tried it with a new profile?
OK, creating a new profile did it. Thanks.

Why is such a thing part of a user's profile???

Anyway, feel free to close this bug.
don't know, how this is related to a profile, but i'm glad it helped you.
i don't have the permission to close the bug, but i'm sure you have them as the
reporter.
